BigAgile's delivery dashboards offer insights into remaining and current progress, as well as valuable metrics such as predictability, which help your planning activities.

This guide explains the Multi PI dashboard, which is an overview of delivery metrics for the last 4 PIs.

PI Key

This PI chart shows which PIs are included on the dashboard and the colour assigned to each. The four PIs are determined by the latest active PI, and the three before that.

Top Level Metrics

Features

The features tab allows you to quickly see the average number of features planned and delivered per PI.

Dependencies

The dependencies tab shows the average number of dependencies per PI.

Stories

The stories tab shows metrics about the average number of stories and story points per PI.

Teams

The teams tab shows the average number of teams and story points per team per PI.

Charts

Planned V Delivered

The planned v delivered graph offer insights as to how many features have been planned, entered during the PI, and completed in the PI. The Y-axis shows features, and the X-axis shows increments.

Days to close (Average feature cycle time):

The Days to Close chart shows the average number of days to close a feature in a PI. We can see metrics from the screenshot below offering insights into feature cycle time.

💡Tip: Hover over the bars in the graph to see exact figures for feature cycle time.

Program Increment Velocity

The Program Increment Velocity graph shows the number of features delivered in each sprint, over the last 4 PIs. The number of features are displayed on the Y-axis, and sprints are on the X-axis.

Hovering at any given sprint on the graph will show the exact number of features delivered in that particular sprint

You are also able to zoom into the graph for more detailed metrics, using the zoom tool.

Programme Predictability

The programme predictability graph shows the predictability of the last 4 PIs. Predictability is calculated as Delivered Value vs Planned Value of the PI objectives. The Y-Axis shows predictability, and the X-axis shows the 4 PIs

  • Hovering over a bar will show more detailed metrics for a particular PI.
