Logging On

The first step to use BigAgile is to Login.

If your organisation has SSO set up, you will just need to navigate to your BigAgile URL and use your organization's credentials to log in. It's important to note that when logging in for the first time, you will be given Read-only permissions. Speak to your administrators to grant you the right permissions once you’ve logged in.

If you don’t have SSO, you will need user log-on credentials to be created. Ask your admins to do this for you and you will receive a welcome email with instructions.

Navigating BigAgile

BigAgile is split into four sections. Product, Delivery, Value Stream and Admin. (Access to these sections will depend on permission level)

As soon as you have logged onto BigAgile, you're taken to the delivery dashboard. Navigating BigAgile is simple. Using the panel on the left of the screen, you're able to choose which screen you'd like to access.

The various screens in each section are visible by expanding the right section using the drop-down arrows. This is universal across the Product, Delivery, Value Stream, and Admin screens in BigAgile.

Top-level Selectors

BigAgile's top-level selectors allow you to filter metrics by Programme, Increment, and team. You can choose to see past Increments and future Increments by clicking the Increment drop-down. Choosing a Programme and Team works this way too.

The top right selectors remain static, regardless of which screen you're currently accessing. The account button allows you to log out, and the sun icon offers the ability to switch between light and dark modes.

Creating, Updating and Deleting data elements

Screens in BigAgile with a "+" symbol indicate that a data element (e.g. feature) can be created.

Updating and deleting elements in BigAgile is easy. Simply click them to reveal the details panel, make the changes, and click on Save & Post. Deleting in BigAgile works by clicking on the Bin icon.

💡Tip: The method to update elements/items in BigAgile is universal. For instance, you edit a milestone in the same way as a feature.

Help and Support

If you have a question or simply want to get in touch, use the icon at the bottom left of the screen to write us a message. This is available across all screens in BigAgile.

We also have guides to help you understand and make the most of BigAgile's functionality available here.
